Cool, thanks...buddy has a set with some nice tires. They might just find their way onto my Sport...

And your avatar looks eerily similar to one I had some time back lol

The car's not the problem. It's the wheels. By the way, nice wing.

Ed has those wheels on his '87, but he hasn't been around in ages. I can't even find a photo of his car anywhere.

EDIT: Found a photo from the deep archives.

I don't care what car pics you find, they're ugly. Just because they may be cheap, or free, doesn't mean they are good looking.

I just wanted something that was an OE wheel, and NOT a Cobra R. Those to me are way too overdone. Welds, draglites and centerlines aren't even an option. Only reason I'd considered these are that they have near-new tires...but now dude is saying he's keeping the tires and wanting 200 for the wheels. Eff that.

I do like the looks of the '94-'95 Cobra wheel on a Fox Bird...Chuck's car stands out with them.

The search continues....

Cobra R wheels are used a lot, BUT, they're not ugly.

I wish they made a copy in 4 lug. I would get a set for the T-bird in a minute.

Those are arguably one of the best looks for a Fox Tbird. Sorry to the Cobra R fans...but they're too overdone for my taste. When you see 25-30 Mustangs a week, and all but maybe one or 2 have them, it jades pretty fast.

Now the ones Paul posted....
That's what I'm talkin' about!

+1  Always like them.  Wonder how hard it would be to stuff in a motor and trans from a new EVO.

I think those wheels WOULD look good on a catbird.

I look at those on the COugar in the pic, and no mater how I look at them, they just don't fit on these cars (visually).

I like the Pony's on our cars. But I like the Cobra R's too. I actually bought a set over the winter for mine. My current wheels have been on it since 1992! I guess it's finally time to update it a little.
