Yikes. I feel your pain. A couple of months ago my AOD refused to shift properly even though it was just rebuilt. They found metal shavings in it and had to gut it completely and start from scratch. $$$ :(
The only silver lining is that it's tight now like when it was new, basically because it is at this point...:punchballs:

Straight cut gears? Three shafts?:dunno:
hmm.. my guess is lawn tractor.. some of them have straight cut gears because you can go all speeds in reverse

Lol it is certainly not a lawn tractor! It does however have a torgue rating of 1550 ft lbs! Lol
