I am just feeling this out, I have an 88 XR7 It is a 5.0. Completely stock. It has new brakes, struts, shocks, and tires. It is red with a red cloth interior. It has power everything. No moonroof. The car has never been hit, but...It has surface rust on the quarters and some damage on the pas. door and quarter under the moulding, where the prevous owner turned into something. 100% original paint. The headlights look brand new. Over all , this is a really clean car. If someone wants a nice easy cougar project, this is it. Resto it, or modify it. It is my daily driver now, and Im just going to end up killing it with the miles I put on a car. I kind of hate to do that to this car. but I have to many other "toys" to keep it and not drive it everyday.
