Hey everyone. Been a long time since I posted. Had a little bad news and a pic to share. I had an 85 30th anniversary tbird that I built up thanks to the help from the members of this sight. I had done the full 5.0 treatment to it. Over the years, I ended up selling it to my brother who finished adding a few goodies. Well, to shorten the story, during a recent back road test and tune, it happened. During a hard launch, the fuel line fitting broke coming out of the top of the tank. Hope the pic shows up. Kenny.
Pic not showing up. Something tells me I don't want it to...
No pic.
Please tell me the car didnt burn......
First, was anybody hurt?
There's always another Thunderbird out there...
shame to hear of one's demise though :(
I agree, hopefully no one was hurt.
trying again. storms on and off all day to day. tornados everywhere. hope everyones ok. Let's see if I can get this pic up without the internet drop out from under me.
Yeah, everyones ok with the bird.
pic was taking with his cell phone. shame. now hes rebuilding things and putting drivetrain in 88 tc. A positive note for myself, suppose to be going to pick up an 87 Anniversary Cougar sometime today(sat.) Will eventually start a new thread on that one too. Plan on swapping in an HO with a mass air conversion and a few other odds and ends. Thanks guys. Kenny.
that's a horrible, horrible sight to see :(
Sorry about your loss and I'm Vlad everyone is alright. What a shame :-(
