i drove past a car lot called spry motor cars in york PA and i saw a clean 1984 thunderbird. has a v6 with 43,xxx miles on it. they were asking 3500 for it. i can get more info if anyone is interested

now see that angers me i saw it on another web site and that said it only had 43,000 on it not 143,000

Looks like a fairly clean car.  Interesting cup holders in the console.

It looks like 43,000 miles...I know there are folks in that area that really take care of their cars.  Might have to check it out. :hick:

Called and it's a 1 owner car with 143,xxx miles.  Looks great with that mileage. Some room in the price but not much at this point. I'm thinking it's a bit high for a 6 and that mileage. I'll keep watching it tho'. :hick:

87bird, you should stop in and look around/under it a bit more if you get a chance.

Bought new at Beasley according to salesman.

still sitting in the same spot on the lot as of today couldnt get in to check it out, lil tight getting a tri axle dump truck in there

 Most people automatically assume a vehicle has over 100k when they are past a certain year. I've gone rounds with a couple of shops that I had taken my wife's grandfather's 93 tempo to when they would put the mileage over 100k. They kept saying "It must have over 100k because of it's age!" No, Not when it's only driven MAYBE 6 mi a day it don't and he bought it new. LOL
