Post by: mpd86 on June 01, 2005, 10:49:07 PM
Where in the engine compartment is the self test connector on the 1986 Cougar with a 3.8 TBI ?

Can someone indicate / describe the pinouts and usage on the self test connector ?

Thanks.

this should be helpfull,, and welcome aboard!!

setup using the test light method, not the check engine light or scan tool.

i use a 12vdc buzzer in place of the light bulb so i can focus on writting codes and not looking at a light then writting.
