Actually it wasn't too bad. Only took a couple of days from when we called to when it was delivered.
Now if only the paint mfg can get the correct formula to me in a couple of days. I've spent about 6 hrs with 2 paint techs from SW trying to match the color, the face matched with no problem, but the side tone wouldn't match no matter what we did. So they sent a piece to Richmond NC

Ya it is a fairly common color. For some reason we can't get the red side tone that is needed to match perfectly. But as I'm finding out, the are certain imports the really skimp on actual paint. Hyundai being the worst so far. This is the second one that required the paint mfg's help to get it to match. :( the first was a gold colored elantra.

The part was sent to their (SW's) paint lab.

Yikes. Why wasn't that thing totaled? It can't be very valuable, and I can only guess how many hours you have into it...

Some insurance companies go as far as 75% of the value. I was surprised as well though. I have approx 40 hrs so far.

this same thing was done on my silver TC but from halfway up the windshield back and the rear of the floorpan and halfway up the rockers.
