Don't blame her...blame ABC, they named the show. ;)
Fair enough. And I suppose TMZ and similar celeb gossip trash outlets have a lot to do with it, too.
People TRY to find ways to be "offended" or appear "offended".....or something. I mean the jump they're making there is so ridonkulous I can't even fit it in my head. I don't even know where to start. But I think I would focus most of my rage on the fact that "middle-aged woman" ITSELF does not = cougar. Hello!!!???? For Pete's sake find something productive to do.
People are stupid. And blameless.
'Cougar' is the new tragically hip term. Whatever. Our cars existed way before the term meant something else. We're the OC's LOL.
As far as the article goes, remember this is Utah we're talking about--the ultra-religious out there (and we all know whom I'm talking about) take offense to everything. It's not a shocking revelation. The Chargers work equally well as a team name.
Locally, we have a grade school whose team name is the Cougars. What's awesome is that they have a huge version of our car logo on their gym wall. Always makes me proud. :catbang:
I'd still nail the hell out of Marie Osmond though. Just saying.
Being a born and raised mormon, from utah, I take no offense whatsoever. I am surprised it made it even t the local news station. The real reason is there are 4 high schools within about 5 miles of me that have cougars. As the school mascot. The news just had to spin it around to make headlines.
I had a friend that lived on cougar drive, in cougar place, at the cougar apartment buildings we have no nfl, we have no real sports except for basketball. The byu cougars revolutionized football, and are considered to be what every kid wants to be when they grow up.
Have you seen her since the "work"???? Very skurry.....
Jus' sayin'
LOL Yeah, guess she got some work done. But dude, I've been watching her since she and her brother had their variety show on TV in the 1970s. Yeah...still doable, no matter the work done. RRRROOOWWWRRRrrrrrrrr.
