After going back and forth for quite awhile with what to do I think I am about to get out of these things for now. I will post up some quick pics here before I head out to FL for a few. If you have any interest make me an offer. Listing here first and will put on ebay when I get back. All in very nice shape and can be driven with no worries so I wont give them away but will consider any reasonable offer
Is the 83 a V8?
I could get really interested in both the '86 Cougar and the '80 Square Bird ---- but I'm going to need to see a good amount of pictures.
From what I gather, you are one that has always taken care of your vehicles.
If you'll get back in touch with me with the pictures and some numbers -- as I do not make offers -- I'll appreciate it.
The 83 is a V6, the 80 is a 302. I can get any pics you want once I get back. They are all sitting in my garage in NY covered up now. 83 has 90k on it, the 80 has around 78k on it and the 86 has 130k but only 25k on a new motor
I'll have to pass then. If I'm going to buy another T-bird it's going to be a 5.0 car.
Thanks. I'll look forward to the pics.
Dan, i only wish i had room(and the extra money) for the Cougar. just something in me about being different with a square roof. if i had a line on selling my '86 TC, i'd love to get with you on it. i just couldnt say for sure right now when that would be.....sigh.....
Here a few pics of the cougar I had on my computer. I can get more when I am back near it if there is something specific you are wanting pic wise to see. I will get some of the 80 then also. Cougar has about 130k on it but it received a remanufactured motor at approx 109-110k, I have all the receipts from the P/O (he used to be on here). It has new radiator, aux fan motor, brakes, heater core, window run channels and dew wipes and other things I have forgot at the moment.
The 80 Silver anniversary is all original. It is loaded. The only thing it doesnt have is leather interior. It has a factory moonroof, CB, digital inst cluster, etc. As it sits now it has the correct TRX rims with the correct tires but with blackwalls. I have also a complete set of the TRX rims with the correct original style ultra expensive whitewall tires.

I also have the original hood if wanted

I wish I was a little closer, I'd be all over that '80
Hey Dan, how much are you looking to get for the Cougar? I was drooling over that when we picked up the t-bird! LOL
I am looking for a car now and would love to get back into a cat again.
Does it need anything to be road worthy? Is it dependable?
Now sure if you still have my number, but I'll PM it to you.
Karen
Talk to me about this 86 TC.... In PM so we don't jack the thread any further that is. :)
Thanks for posting the pics, sent you a PM.
Man, those are all real nice-looking cars. Mind if I ask why you have decided to get out of them?
Also, the CB in that '80 cracks me up. There is an identical one in my old man's '79 Continental (which, by the way, he wants to sell if anyone is in need of a tank). As kids we used to love to play around with that thing but we never could get it to work worth a darn.
What are you looking for on the XR-7? Only thing that bothers me is the auto.
Sorry for the delay in response, not on here much anymore. You need not be bothered by the auto, if all goes as planned they will all be gone shortly
Its looking like 1 and quite possibly 2 of these will be parted out. I will be giving the new owner this site info so if you all are after any parts they might soon be available
Wow, that's sad. These are gorgeous cars.
