Title: need to know asap - shock question

Will shocks for 94/04 mustang work on a 88 thunderbird ...?
I know its the wrong section just need a deft answer before I buy

All Mustang rear shocks (79-04) are too short to use on the rear of a Fox Tbird/Cougar out of the box.  Even on a lowered car.

You can use them however, if you make up for the length difference.  Some folks use extenders on the top, some (like me) use brackets on the bottom that raise the mounting point on the axle up.
