Got myself a set of billet rods for my next 2.3T build. Can't wait 'til Tuesday when they get here! Also got a new tool box for my soldering equipment, and some well thought out little gifts.
Also got to see the wife and kids open their gifts.

Same here.....I didn't want anything as I have been very blessed early in life and don't really "need or want" for much.  As long as the kids and wife are taken care of then all is good!

Lessee, I got a professional-style battery charger (the one on wheels), a watch, shop stool, a 20v Lithium Ion cordless drill, two sets of "Super Sockets" (one metric, one SAE, supposedly good for removing rounded off fasteners, we shall see), a set of adjustable wrenches, a ratcheting screwdriver, a new stereo for my truck, and an iPhone 4S (which I actually gave to myself, a month and a bit ago, but I'm calling it a Christmas present to justify spending the money on it). And oh yeah, my traditional crate of lobster...

if these are the ones like craftsman came out with a few years ago, the interior of the socket spirals with grabbing force in the counter clockwise direction,,,,
trust me you will be VERY VERY happy with them.

I have used them about a half dozen times and each time they did the job.

good to know someone has had good experiences with them.. i was looking at them, wanted to try them but i'm always a bit leary on stuff like that.. like the 'gator grip' sockets, they break easy

I got a whole bunch of hot sauce and storage ottoman. But I got my little boy his first batch of hot wheels and he flipped. It was pretty cool him asking what each make and model was.

x2...don't know the backstory and its none of my business, but that's awesome.

Christmas really is a great time of year.  Its a lot different for my wife and I now that we have my son.  He's only 5 mos old so he is way to young to get excited about presents, etc but it was cool to see my extended family members holding and playing with him.

As far as loot: Ka-bar knife (http://"http://www.kabar.com/knives/detail/72"), Chrome "bowtie" emblem for my Silverado tailgate, clothes, gloves, gift card for the French Lick Resort and Casino (http://"http://www.frenchlick.com/") in French Lick, IN.

My girlfriend totally blew me away this year when i unwrapped a 60th anniversary Fender Telecaster in transparent red. She also had the guitar shop add a pearloid pick guard. I have wanted one exactly lik this forever, but would never spend that kind of money on a guitar. Best Christmas EVER :-]

I got a late Christmas gift from my son.

They are 3D car signs, he found a guy on Ebay, selling these custom made signs.

They look really cool in their 3D form.

I had a great Christmas too. Got to spend alot of time with my family. I was really excited to give the gifts we got everyone this year thanks to the new job. And as usual I ended up with quite a haul myself. My parents got me a Danbury Mint 60 T-Bird, this years Holiday Budwieser Stien, and a bunch of other stuff. I got some nice stuff from my sister and brother in law. My step daughter out done herself and got me a Ford bag for my T-Bird and a remote hellicopter like the one in jcassity's pic. And my wife really spoiled me! She got me a remote start for my Fusion, an ipod classic, and ipod dock, and a bunch of other stuff. Now to pay for it all! lol!!!

Hi Jay,

The T-bird signs look better in person, than what the pictures shows.

Yeah , when you go all those years without "money", at Christmas time, it's nice to be able to give back.

I got a remington 700 adl chambered in .270 topped with a sportview 3.5-9x scope, hardcase for said rifle, my deer license, pocket knife, a multitool, a flashlight with built in uv light and flashing red lights, a digital tread depth/ tire pressure gauge, socks, my concealed carry permit, an 8 pointer(listing it since I shot it the day after receiving my early christmas at deer camp), and the deer processing paid for....probly some little things I forgot to...like joint presents for me and my wife.
