Title: Buying a home w/ a little acreage PICS ADDED
Post by: 1BadBird on December 22, 2011, 05:20:38 PM
The wife and I will be signing the contract for the place by the 30th. It's an older mobile home sitting on 3/4 acre, but it has a heated oversized 2 car garage AND :burnout: a heated 30'X40' shop. I can't wait till we get all the paperwork done and get moved in. I'll post pics after I get some good ones.

Sounds good. And if you would decide to build a house or get a modular you have a place to stay until it's done.

That's our thoughts too. The regular garage will be doing double duty, we plan on using it to do our entertaining in as well as "just" parking the DDs in. We are planning on putting a wet bar and a movie projector out there   as well as a bathroom.

And Thanks thewestie and shadow.

Priorities = 100% straight. Think about it. A car is what 10 times bigger than a person in volume? Maybe 5 to be nice? Either way, a lot bigger than a person. Average house is probably 20 times as much volume as a person! The person gets all of that extra space, the car is stuck with what 2 or 3 times it's volume to inhabit! That would be like living in a half-bathroom and only that! It made sense to me while I was on the toilet...:hick:
