I'm 99% sure this is the unit I need to replace the lame aftermarket CD player in my 87 Bird. Can anyone confirm?

It looks like it, I got mine out of a non prem audio car. (you can see by the dust pattern it came out of a different model car) :lol:

If your car has premium audio with the EQ you need the version with the balance slider on it.
