Not digging the Audi-style add on LED's he put on the front lights AT ALL. Nice car, pay maybe 5K for it...
He needs to adjust his hood latch ;)
He needs to put the JC Whitney catalogue away. And the crack pipe.
x2.. and he's 20 years early on asking that price
I was just about to post this car, I like what he did with the rear tail light reflectors....
I think its frikken sweet.
But no, not $19,000 sweet.
thats some funny stuff!:mullet: He probably thought it was a "special edition"
the crack or the car? :rollin:
I want to know how he got a sensor to auto detect rain without modifying anything in the interior.
+1 ...but not so much with the front
We've been discussing this car on NATO for a couple of weeks. He started out wanting 22k and turned down an offer of $21,990.00.
now this statement may be a true fact
"Note: I am selling this vehicle for HALF or what I put into it for replacement parts, repairs, upgrades, and restoration."
i find that hard to believe.. ~$40k is hard to spend when you're not getting into complete aftermarket suspension and quite a healthy motor build.. and i'm not talking about a y HO swap either.. for him to have spent ~$40 k on that car, it better be able to take the downhill S turn at leguna seca at 70mph or throw me back in the seat and run 10's at the track.. the guy is clearly trying to talk the car up, A LOT
i also believe this to be a lie, unless it's a super rare interior.. because i've never seen or heard of such interior, stock
everything is is original, no modifications with the interior.
The interior is a factory color. The only things that are not correct are the door speaker grills, which are the wrong color and the cheap auto store floor mats.
really? never seen/heard of such interior.. if it was cloth, i'd like it lol he definitely failed on the speaker grills though, the color difference is completely obvious
He did a nice job with it without being gaudy. Worth around $5k?
Maybe the car is lined with kilos of cocaine? e.g; "The French Connection"
That could be why he believes it to be so special and believes he can get "street" value for the pen 15e?
It's the Raven (dark gray/light gray) interior in leather. It was a factory option on Turbo Coupes.
I love Fox T-birds, but there are a hell of a lot nicer rides you can get for $19k than that car.
Like a mint, factory fresh Turbo Coupe. But that would still be less than 19K.
you could buy a shell and build your own 'brand new, factory fresh' TC for $19k :giggle:
