Got a double feature for ya here. Took the old '83 out for a last hurrah before being stored for the winter. bought new rubber for it, so i figured why not!

And my latest addition, Im picking up a 1974 XR7 tonight. pics will follow!:burnout:
You better rotate the drivers side rear tire over and do it again due to that "one tire fire" you had going on there. :poke:
man, you either need a traclok carrier or you need to rebuild yours :p lol
Looks like fun......... but, you guys talk funny......
O.K., you need a Traction lock rear. What's the wet stuff under the rear tire? That's cheating, you know.
i didn't even notice.. cat's out of the bag! LOL
Nice thanks for the smoke show. I Have a set of tires I need to get rid of Ill have to find someone to hold the camera
yeah I had a tripod for the expensive camera, and laid the cheapo on the ground and drove over it. cats got an open diff, we tried water to get it to spin both, but as you can see that didnt work. lol I guess it took turning all the cameras off to get it going!
and, since promised, i picked up that '74, and am in love! a few pics for ya!

Always loved those 3-spoke streering wheels. Seems odd seeing a car that's pretty much loaded without air. But I guess if it was originally sold up your way, not so much.
EW!!!! what's that white stuff in the first picture?! YUCKY YUCKY! lol
A '75 but...............

burnouts are nice and all, but, all that time wasted and NO DONUTS?????? Come on man!! ;)
donuts are for cops :rollin:
haha, didnt get the chance to rip a donut, maybe next summer. hwy73 was close, its a 74.
nah, never saw the first 1.. i don't watch kid movies, i'm more of a 'lesser known' movie kind of guy
so I guess my biggest question of the day is does anyone know where i could possibly get some aftermarket body panels for this thing? or know of any places that hang on to something like this that i could buy panels from...she's a little rusty underneath haha
Florida Junkyards :giggle:
umm.. more like california junkyards.. lol
finding NOS body parts is going to be near impossible.. your best bet is going to be finding someone who's parting a solid car that doesn't have a title/has title issues
well, im pretty well up the creek at that point, unless i can find someone who will ship across the country. sometimes being in canada sucks.
what exactly do you need? i frequently hit my local junkyard and they always have at least 1 fox
oh haha, no, it would be for the 1974. thanks tho!
well you should have mentioned that :p I think I speak for all of us when I say we all thought you meant your fox lol
OH haha sorry guys! my bad!
yeah, you're pretty far up the creek on that 1.. if there were any in the yards around here, they'd be rusted for sure.. maybe a west coast guy will be lucky enough to have leads on 1 somewhere.. cars out there get 1 little rust spot and (most) consider it 'too far gone', so off to the junkyard they go.. lol
yeah, not me. I found this thing with a little rust around the rear wheels, and when i pulled it out from under its tree, discovered a lack of a rear passenger wheel well. still gonna save it tho!
Is that title...a Pokemon reference? :D :D :D
That 74 looks sweet, how does the frame look?
Frame looks really good, just some major rust on the fender well in the rear passenger wheel, its eaten all the way through to the door jam, so I've got some welding work on my hands, but other than that, she's in really good shape.
