Title: Seat Belt Options
Post by: bike70ride on November 23, 2011, 04:18:00 PM
I did some reading of the forum posts via search, but didn't come up with a whole lot. I see there is a company called "Andover" that does some custom seat blets, but they are quite expensive.

What kind of options do we have for replacing seat belts? I'd like to mainly re-do/replace my female belt receptacles (with sleeves) and have no issues keeping the male components. Just tired of messing with the latch mechanisms and fishing for the female ends alongside the seat.

Thanks!

I have a couple of extra sets (the inner female pieces) from Crown Vic cop cars. Once bolted  down, they look stock, and the sleeves are in great shape.

Thx, Vin...do they attach to the seat like stock?  At least for my consolette car...my belt receivers are attached to the seat...so I guess I gotta pull the seats out to make the swap.  :/

Vinny, any thoughts on mounting?  If you've got some extras you'd part with, I'm interested.

Thx!
