Title: Rear spring isolators?
Post by: Driverguy on October 28, 2011, 11:45:22 PM
I'm buying the CHE performance Rear control arm set...and on the information page it has a link to rear spring isolators...but the link doesn't go anywhere.....the only spring isolators I can find are for a fox Mustang, on Summit.  Will those fit, or is there another place to get some specifically for a Cougar?

I got mine from an individual on Ebay. the CHE's were still new in the box and the isolators were there as well. Perhaps he bought them for the install that never happened.......til I got them. I got them for less than half the original cost, so, I was happy.

ok what about front spring isolators?  I've read that our front suspension is closer to an SN95 mustang then to a fox mustang...which ones should I use?  For some reason, as with the rear isolators, I can only find uppers directly for a cougar...but no lowers.  I found them on Summit...why would they make upper isolators but no lowers?

nevermind that...ive just checked and the part numbers are the same for an 88 mustang and a 98 mustang...must mean the sn95 and fox are the same...but will they fit?
