Title: Strange tranny noise

88 T-Bird 5.0 with AOD. I have a strange buzzing noise that seems to be comming from the tranny. Appears to be only in park and at idle. There are no driveability issues. I'm stumped. Any Ideas?

Noise went away. Still curious though. It sounded like a very loud fuel pump. I don't know of anything in the tranny area that could make that kind of sound.

Might have been the exhaust vibrating.
