Title: more power= broken parts
Post by: SR71blackbird on October 06, 2011, 10:37:26 PM
Soon i'll have around 350-360RWHP. All i need is the stand alone computer from stinger to have that power. With more power, I know things can break. My question is what parts should I look at replacing with upgraded parts to prevent any bad situations.

Driveshaft saftey loop, you probably don't want to catipult from a bad u-joint. Depends on how hard you are on it and what your doing.

SFC = subframe connectors. They're used to tie the front subframe into the rear subframe to enhance chassis stiffness.
I don't see any mention in your signature of an aftermarket clutch. If you're running a stocker, it won't hold up to that much power.

If you're going to run "stickys", the extra traction will raise hell with your U joints as well as that T-5.

Buy just regular square tubing. Mustangs have a bend in them. Ours do not. Check out coolcats.net
