Hi. I have a 88 cougar v6. That kit will work, but you'd need to find spindles from an '87-93 Mustang, struts and shocks from a 94-98 Mustang to properly use it.
Not only that, but some wheels won't clear the larger hubs of those rotors. Same also applies to the mark VII rotors, which are basically what those are.
My advice: scrounge or search craigslist or ebay for SN95 Stang front suspension stuff...cheaper probably, and no worries of certain wheels (such as Bullitt's, Mach 1, FR500, etc) not fitting.
But if that's the route you take...find yourself some 87-93 Stang spindles, or '87-88 TC spindles (same thing) and I'll sell you a pair of Mark VII rotors I have here for cheap. I bought 'em for mine, then got a deal on an SN95 setup from a member here.
The axles in that kit will be too short for your rear, also...it'll work, but your back tires will sit further in the wheelwells. Which is ok if you plan to get aftermarket wheels..just get a different backspace on the rear wheels. I hate that though...because it keeps you from having the ability to rotate your tires...and it's a needless complication if you just use '94-'98 Stang axles.
To sum it up:
Mark VII rotors have the large hub, some wheels won't fit w/o grinding of either the wheel or the hub.
Same with that kit's rotors.
IMO, an SN95 front swap is more feasible.
And the axles are too short for the wider Tbird.
Use '94-98 Stang axles.

Yes this helps alot. Thank you! Could you give me a list of the front end suspension components Ill need from the sn95 stang? And just for my full undertsanding the axles from the 94-98 stang will be long enough for my rear?
