Saw this on the local CL http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/2627383579.html
dude, that's a lot of custom for 3k. Not sure it's the custom I'd be looking for, but there was definitely a lot of work into that.
Goldwing doors? lol
The doors are kinda cool....beats the Lambo doors that Lamborghini even quit doing. Put some different wheels on, and pretty up the engine, would make a fun car to beat the streets with.
Probably needs some sfc to keep the wobbles at bay.
dammmmmmn....
i'd love to see some better photos.
I kind of like it.
What the heck is the first picture of ? It looks like a chest X-ray for a T-1000
I like the doors though
I really like the broom handle holding the door open.
I'm guessing its showing some hydraulics or something that are used for the doors?
Thats pretty cool! not quite my taste but for $600 I would rice it around town!
They must have changed the pics. The doors are closed in the ones I saw.
I like it. Would be even cooler with 84-86 TC front.
Its cool and wierd at the same time. New wheels, better powerplant and it would be a looker.
I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
Hideous.
gull-wing doors, guys :)
The name came from MB 300SL.

Wow! I was cruising one of the junk yards here in Cali, and there it was! Couldnt believe it! I knew I saw the add in Vegas Area.

I wish I could see the add again so someone could tell me what was done to this car; such as lowering spings, 5 lug swap, etc, etc. looks like he didnt get the $3,000 he wanted :(

Last time I saw he only wanted $500 for it. He still has an add up, although he never never went into too much detail on what was done to it.

Why the hell would you you put a "Good Running Car with Title" in the junkyard, Especially after all that work...
Do you have any pics of the rear? How much would they ask for the rear bumper cover? (No worries if you are interested in it yourself)
Could be sold it to someone that then wrecked it.
There is no way to remove the rear bumper cover. It is glass on to the car. I sent him a text with no response. He didnt put area code and that area in Vegas has three area codes, so I tried all 3. Just curious to how it made it all the way to California and then was junk. Motor was complete, and interior was still in car, however the two front wheels, and brakes were gone and the rear pinion cover gone too. Kinda pissed me off to see that someone just kicked in the front drivers and passenger fenders for the hell of it.
Im not interested in this car at all, except maybe for the lowering springs.
D'oh, Had a feeling it might be~Oh well.
How did the interior look?
Truly a sad end for this very unique car.
i get a love/hate feeling for this car, all while feeling bad for it.. love it because someone showed true interest in doing something completely off the charts with a fox bird, hate because i dislike the gull-wing doors greatly and feel bad because it ended up where it'll meet it's maker when they crush it..
i really wish it was closer.. i'd try to buy it from the junkyard, give it what it needs to at least roll around again and put it up for sale, so someone can truely save it.. such a shame :\
this shiznits me, what i'd have done to get this car :P
The doors looks like wings on a bird! Cool and neat, but would not want it for my personal car. I am impressed with the work he did on the fenders and rear quarters to make room for fatter tires. Do not like the low-rider look. It sits too low and looks funny with that short of wheels.
too low? what's that mean?!
The gullwing doors are really unique. They actually only open using hydraulic pumps. The interior was mangled by the yard vultures, but was a nice black and red custom leather job. It was just crazy to see a car in an add in vegas and all of a sudden weeks later see it in a local junk yard in Cali.
It's hideous and belongs in the yard.
:beatyoass:
Yup, I said it, and meant it.
I think I could love something like that.... It just needs a flux capacitor.
don't go making bad deals with arabs.. they'll shoot you like they shot doc!
