Title: V8 Tach Search

Hello,

I'm looking for a donor tach for my 88 tbird, what years mustang cougar or bird will swap into my 88 tc cluster ? (needs to be for v8)

Preferably with no modding to the housing. I don't mind doing a bit of rewiring. I originally added a resistor to mine to make it read right but when it gets to 5k it sticks now.

'88 Sport and XR-7, I beleive are the only ones.

Just be patient til you can find the right tach. Do it right the first time.

I'm planning on converting the TurboCoupe Tach to V8 by doing the resistor mod...

I did the resistor mod, now doesn't want to read right 5k range, i'd like to shift it it at 5.5-6k and dont' want to guess. If it comes down to close in price, might just do aftermarket and graft in.
