Hi guys.
I need few parts for my bird. As I mentioned in my thread, I damaged the shifter linkage during taking the transmission back after rebuild. The plastic ending on transmision side broke into two pieces.

The second thing is oil filler cap. Two may be OK, I will loose them again . No, I'm joking :D.
And the third is the washer with tooth from front wheel hub.

PS: I tried to contact hcor, but he doesn't reply.
Hcor said he was going out of business. Someone will have what you need here. hang tight.
Oh, I have the valve cover oil cap.
I have modified Cadillac oil filler cap now, but it's realy temporary solution, becase it isn't made from plastic, it's made from iron, so it scrathes the aluminium valve cover every time I open or close it.
I'm woried about the shifter linkage, because newer cars use rods, not the cable. I don't know, what is used in the column shifter. It may be the same. Or not.
Other temporary possibility is two-component epoxide. The broken part isn't under big stress, so it may last a while before I get the "new" one. Now it is wired together, so I can shift at least RND and I am happy, because I can shift using shifter, not the lever on the tranny under the car.
The column shift cars are totally different. You just need to find a floor shift cable for a Turbo Coupe. The 5.0 cars with a floor shifter are also different than yours, and even harder to find. Someone has to be parting out a Turbo Coupe and will have that cable.
That's not a possitive info for me. I'll try to ask here, if some company is able to make me the new linkage. Maybe we can use the damaged ending for machining the new one and the rest of the cable may be kept. The cable itself is OK. Maybe it will be cheaper.
Winter's over and I still don't have that oil cap. Does someone have the original spare piece? I need it ASAP.
Thanks
did you ever fix your linkage?
I'm going to fix it in the begining of april during the transmission rebuild.
Noone with the spare oil cap? (http://freeemoticonsandsmileys.com/emoticons/Mood%20Emoticons/cray.gif)
Please...
Nobody???
What would be the difference between a Turbo Coupe oil cap, and a regular 4 cyl. oil cap?

I know about these aftermarket oil caps, but last time I was looking for it, no seller didn't ship to Europe. Now, ONE ships. So I ordered it. Thanks.
I went to many junkyards here, but I wasn't able to find any compatible oil cap. All of them were screw type, or just a plug. No bayonet at all.
