i am in desperate need of the bracket that bolts to the d.s. of trans/motor and holds the shift linkage rod,one side of the rod goes to the bracket on the frame and the other side of rod goes to this bracket,i need the bracket and bolts

Are you talking about a column shifted automatic? I have the bracket from my 88 cougar (the yellow one in the pic). But it is for an AOD. I don't have the bolts. Yours for shipping if it will work...
