Title: Gauge Cluster swap
Post by: Soul on August 11, 2011, 02:26:50 PM
Will a gauge cluster form a 90 mustang fit in an 88 tbird? I found a deal on a cut panel with gauges but its for a 90 mustang. Any help is appreciated.

Negative ghostrider...unless you swap in the ugly '87-93 Stang dash...and that's not exactly as simple as it sounds, neither.

What cluster do you have in the 'Bird now? If you have the Base digital (digi speedo only) it's a very easy upgrade to an buttstuffog cluster...

It's more involved if you have the full digi cluster though, as you have to swap out a coupla sensors for the new cluster to reflect oil and fuel levels.

Both can have the 199mph speedo mod done, however. Search for W2 mod or 199mph mod if interested. Nice writeup on CoolCats and Sam's FoxThunderCats pages

I've got a '90 Mustang that may be in want of a cool cluster...should you decide you want to sell it...
