I need to convert to a floor shifter. Shifting a column shifter at 5k+ is a little worrisome. Leaving the trans alone to short shift 2nd is annoying. Currently I have the consolette interior pieces. I will not need a stock shifter as I plan on getting a cheap tci gate shifter or maybe a hammer. If anyone has stuff they can part with let me know. Thanks.

For all the pieces to do a floor shift conversion on my '87 cougar ls I'm willing to part/trade with: 87/88 TC hood, stock 7.5 axle 2.73 w/brakes, fox mustang k member, early 70's sbf heads, e7's, '85 svo ecm, big VAM from an '85 svo, 5spd pedals assbly. Let me know. I'd prefer something local to SJ just because of shipping. Thanks.
I have the entire shebang.....shifter, all the bolts, cable, console plate, etc. And it's all in good shape. Shipping would not be too bad since I just over here in SWPA. Not even sure what all my parts are worth...not really interested in trades though....kinda could use cash for some parts I need....unless you have a '93 Cobra MC (or any MC w/ 1" bore).

if you can't work out a deal with dan, shorty's in williamstown has an 87-88 bird in their yard with the parts you need.. i have their price list on my computer if you need em
