i have an 88 mustang that i did a mass air conversion by changing the harness to an 89. but when i start it it goes full rich? i changed the computer air meter map sensor plugs fuel rail and injectors still nothing. anyone had this happen before?

Did you check it for codes??? Make sure the fuel pressure reg isn't leaking??? Assuming it was OK prior and you tried another EEC, air meter, etc, it may have a problem with the harness.. Try it with the air meter disconnected to see if it makes a difference...

OH yea you did remove the vac line from the MAP, now BAP sensor??

You planning on mods to the engine??? If not you're just as well off to leave it SD, stock they are a little stronger than a MA version.

Yep removed the vac line from the bap/map, will pull codes and see.
The guy did put a 155lph fuel pump in, shouldn't the stock regulator be able to handle that, or would ya need an adjustable one? We'll try it with the maf disconnected. Thanks for the suggestions.  Herb

Stock regulator will handle the 155 pump.....Your particular regulator may be broken, but you would not need an adjustable in conjunction with the 155 pump.  A stock regulator can handle it.....
