Title: The rubber air defectors
Post by: thewestie on July 05, 2011, 09:17:18 PM
The rubber flaps on each side of the radiator and along the front frame. I painted the engine bay and was wondering if any one has run there car without these. And has anyone purchased aftermarket ones?

There mounted to the core support on each side of the radiator and on the frame under the battery and by the canister on the pass side. I'm told the ones by the rad are to put more air though it and the others are to keep debris out of engine bay.

If they are intact you could just repaint them black (clean them up first) and put them back on.
