Title: My 87 Thunderbird LX
Post by: 302Bird87 on June 30, 2011, 09:23:29 AM
This is my 1987 Thunderbird LX.
I got it from a friend of mine, with some work needed. The suspension needed  new parts like springs bushings, shocks and some minor work to engine and transmission. As i looked over the car, and found out what i wanted to do with it, i took it apart completely.

Is that ThunderGowl's car or do you have a matching car?

This kind of color? This is dark silver, not quite gunmetal, but it may give you some idea of what yours could look like:

In progress is seat mounts. Need to gets some bigger angles from work. The ones on the photo is 1x1 inch and the seat sits too low. Gonna try with 2x2 inch.
