That's it for now! Still a few pieces of trim to go on (doors and windows) and I've just cleaned up the old wheels and tires until the new ones I've ordered arrive.

Had a set back last night! Took the Thunderbird out for a drive and sheared off the waterpump shaft. Took out the rad, shroud, and maybe the fan!!!

I have NEVER heard of a water pump shaft coming apart. Crazy stuff. Are you sure it wasn't the fan that came apart? Well, I had to ask.

I had the water pump hub fall off on my old Buick Century. Since it was front wheel drive all that happend was the belt fell off.

I've had that happen before. It really sucks. That's why I always replace a pump if it's even the slightest bit noisy or leaky (though they don't always give such advance notice)...
