What are those stripes on the hood? Are those the paint or is that some sort of odd reflection?

That is a very nice blue. I like it on that car. The wheels match it too.

NICE! I like the fuel lines. Are you still useing the pump in the tank, is that why there appears to be a return line? What are the specs on the engine?

Awesome car man! Not huge fan of the massive tach, but that's just me.

The stripes on the hood are ghost graphics painted on and continue down both sides of the car into the last third of the doors.

The fuel lines are the plumbing for the stock fuel tank which has had a sump added and the fuel pump is now an Aeromotive A1000.  That is -8 fuel line.

I don't like the huge tachometer either but I drag race the car and it is nice when I need to glance quick for shift points.  Unlike most of the tuners around here, my tach actually works and isn't for show.

If you look closely you can see the tank sump and the -10 feed line running to the pump mounted under the car.

Looking good.

Why are the studs for the rear lugs so long?

The studs are long because they are the 3" Moroso studs designed to work with the adapter lug nuts for the weld rims and it has 10" drums.

Great looking car. I'd love to have those seats. With the car siting so low, how's the ride quality? Does it kind of have that "bounce" to it? The paint looks awesome as well.

Hey, I just noticed, you have a leather wrapped steering wheel under that cover. Again, great looking car.

Thanks,

The car does not have much bounce because I am using 86 Mustang GT Convertible rear springs and Lakewood 50/50 shocks with the CW relocation brackets on the shocks.  Mostly the bounce is not there because of the Team Z relocation bracket that moves the upper control arms forward and down to correct geometry issues created by lowering the vehicle.  I had another brand which worked fine with the stock ride height springs but when I installed the Mustang Coils that "bounce" you mentioned was very much there.

I am not finished with the suspension as of yet.  The rear anti-roll bar needs to be welded in place before I take it to the track.  It will keep the body from rolling and closing the gap on the right rear slick.

Current engine is what is listed in my profile signature, but here is what I am running.

Blueprinted 306
Thumper Ported Canfield 195's
Polished Parker Funnelweb intake
Pro Systems carburetor
Tight Lash Solid Roller Camshaft
-shift point 7200 with 7400 cross
-Idle RPM 750 with 16" vacuum
4.30 gear ratio
26X10 M/T ET Drag Slicks
Moser axles, Powertrax Posi, Welded tubes, LPW differential cover in an 8.8 with c-clip eliminators and 3" Moser wheel studs long enough to be NHRA legal with the Weld Star rims, Lincoln Town Car 10 X 3" 5 Lug rear drums and the adapter lug nuts with clearly visible full thread engagement.
Tremec 3550 II Manual Transmission
Home made solid 1/2" drop engine mounts.
Stock fuel tank bottom sumped with -10 feed line to the Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump which pushes the fuel through -8 feed and return lines.

All of the work/installation except for the machine work and porting was done by me.

The last combination ran 12.20 @ 103
