dontcha just love it.:rollin:
Hahaha maybe my 83 had the supercharger taken off by the previous owner as well!
Some people
with a little elbow grease that paint will shine up to brand new..... would be a nice little project, I wish my car had the vent window..... and i think I've seen crank windows once in a junkyard car
my 83 TC has crank windows, someone buy this thing and send it my way... will trade an 87 TC
I just got to thinking, I thought Ford started putting superchargers in on in '89 on the Tbird supercoupes and Cougar XR7.......did they experiment with it in 84 or would it have been aftermarket if the car had it.......I though I read all this time that the '83 - '88 generation only had the turbo charged cars. Am I Mistaken or right?
Has that real 'Death Race' look about it.
There were prototype SC Turbo Coupes in 1988. I believe Detroit PD had them.
Before that, I've never found evidence of supercharged cars. Ford had plenty of experience with turbocharging since the 1970s so I don't even think they thought too much of supercharging.
You mean these, Eric?

These are really cool cars. TC wheels (and likely suspension, note the PRC strut covers), base grille (the TC snout probably couldn't provide enough cooling) and chrome trim instead of the TC red trim. Pity they were very likely crushed...
I think it might be time to do some cloning :) but the 6 cylinder is not for me.....
the state police still use a fox stang over here on the thruway.... you can't outrun that thing...lol
The '57 Thunderbird had a supercharger option ;)

I can buy it for someone if they are interested...price is not bad.
would be going the wrong way for me...
Those Dearborn PD T-birds are friggin sweet!
