How quickly does it cycle? It should make up to 5 cycles in minute. If it makes much more, check the coolant pressure.

The pressure switch is located on the top of the A/C dryer. It's on the passenger side attached to the firewall.

It's normal. Our cars aren't equipped with compressor with adjustable efficiency. If it cycles slowly, it's all right.

That's not normal. Mine is cold all the time when I run the A/C. I'd check the switch on the top of the A/C dryer.

If he has the lever in HOT, it may blow slightly warm air, but not hot.

And if he has low pressure, then it will blow warm air all the time. And it will cycle fast.

Does any one sell the entire compressor or is it just the clutch that needs rebuilding? My compressor won't spin so I'm not sure if the compressor is bad or just the clutch.

The system is low on a charge. Read the high and low side pressures with a manifold. The clutch should not cycle under certain conditions. But basically all Orifice tube systems cycle a bit. That is how they are designed. Thats why the switch is called a cycling switch!!!
