finally went throught some parts i had, selling some extra stuff
5 speed shift boot ok shape no tears or breaks $15
RH and LH marker lamps good shape $10 each
stock center caps for snowflakes and 10 holes $10 set
set of clear fender lamps nice shape $15
battery tray $5
power seat switches with bezels, very good shape 2 with swithces 2 without 3 are for power driver and passenger seats, 1 for just driver $40 for ones with switches $20 just bezels
teeves unit complete worked good when pulled $50
power steering cooler line oem $20 each
one ford hood scoop insert never installed with all mounting hardware $15
87-88 trim pieces $15 each
rear ride control acuators unknown condition $5 each
87-88 TC instrument clusters good shape $30 each
trim panels for instrument clusters and radio hvac have a couple all vents good $10 each
87-88 steering wheel with cruise buttons nice $30
digital dash clock assy. $5
overhead consoles one blue one red with lights blue one has sunroof switch $15 each
climate control unit $10
third brake light assy. red trim $10
power door lock swith panel on door panel, have a few good shape $10 each
black speaker grilles two sets, one plain one with premium sound tags

one ford hood insert never installed with all mounting hardware $15-----what do you mean insert? hood blanket? oem? condition? what year is it for?
blue one has sunroof switch $15 each------is it oem t bird?
power door lock swith panel on door panel, have a few good shape $10 each---how may or each side? pics?

I'm looking for the molded black plastic piece of trim/insulation that attaches to the dash on the driver side. If you have it. Sending PM too.

Hi:
I was hoping to surprise my grandfather by helping him get the part he needed for his 20th Anniversary 1987 Mercury Cougar in order to fix the door lock on the drivers side door. I'm clearly no mechanic but I've read on coolcats.org about looking into a Lincoln Mark VII or mustang solenoid potentially to replace the broken part. That being said, a lot of my issue is I'm not exactly sure what needs replacing since the keypad still operates the passenger side door and opens the trunk...it's just the driver side door that doesn't work. I've called Ford and they don't manufacture those parts from 1987 any longer so he suggested I go to carparts.com and they didn't know either. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

You probably just need the door lock solenoid. I have one I can ship to you for $25.00.

Hi, I think you're right. I talked with my Papa and he agrees that he believes it's the solenoid being jammed/gunked up. Is there anyway you can send me a picture of it just so I can show him and make sure it's what will work for the driver's side door? cwardy300@gmail.com

Any chance you happen to have other spare parts that would be comparable to the 87 mercury cougar, for example: the ashtray in the backseat, the radio with graphic equalizer premium sound, etc...?

Interested in the body moldings and the window weatherstripping if they are in good shape.
