Title: Parts...and lots of them
Post by: svopaul on May 19, 2005, 09:41:10 AM
OK...I'll put this out as a standing offer. I have a ton of parts and I'll sell them dirt cheap but the catch is that you must pick them up(near B'ham, Alabama). I took 10 sets of E7 heads to the syard yesterday because I have so many and they are a pain to ship(and nobody seems to ever want them) but I have probably 10-20 more sets. So here is the breakdown on what I have...there is more I am sure but these are the basics:

There isn't anything I don't have for the most part for a Mark VII and I have a bit of Tbird stuff but not a ton

-E7 Heads-$15/pair
-Doors(Mark VII & Tbird ALL rust free)-$25 each
-Fenders(Mark VII & 87-88 Tbird all rust free)-$20 each
-Seats(Mark VII & Tbird different colors and condition-nothing "perfect")-$20/pair
-Mark VII hoods-$10 each
-Turbo Coupe hood(complete)-$50
-8.8 Rear ends(4 lug & 5 lug disc)-$150 complete
-HO intakes-$15 upper and lower
-AOD transmissions-need to be rebuilt-$25
-87-88 Turbo Coupe wheels-$40/set of 4

Again, you pick the stuff up...it's not worth my time to even consider shipping at these prices. Bring a big truck and take it all and you'll get a heck of a deal! Take it back home and make yourself some money ;)

Bah.. where's several hundred bucks and a U-Haul when ya need it..?

I wouldn't mind a few pairs of those heads.. want to learn porting and polishing someday soon. Really need a pair of doors for my '86. Wouldn't mind a spare AOD or two. Could use another HO upper. (need to find the TB and EGR spacer, maybe two EGR spacers since I pretty badly banged up my current HO EGR spacer while removing it) Sure I could find uses for some of the other stuff, too.

I'll have to see if I can raise the funds to manage this. Doubtful, but it's worth a shot.

Dude do you have red cloth seats, have to be the luxury seat out of a TC or XR7.
If you do i would definetly be interested in the skins and would pay shipping.
Also looking for a red TC door pull strap.

I will (most likely) be dropping by svopauls this weekend to look around and pick some things up. I'll be driving my Tbird, but if you want something...let me know and I may pick it up and ship it to you (with a bit of profit added in).

I have a Turbo Coupe out back with Red interior that is a parts car but the interior is what I consider "trashed"...the one door strap that is still there is seperating so I don't consider that a good part either.

That's the price for pickup...unfortunately time is money so if I have to spend time packaging something and carrying it to get it shipped, I have to make something worth my time. If someone wants to buy them up and turn around and sell them on their own I don't care. I have a lot to do around here which hold a higher priority than this so unfortunately I can't pack things up unless they cover my time.

For the heads and intake...say [Price]+[actual shipping]+$20 to cover the time it'll take me to box up and drive to the post office.

I think the heads weigh ~50 lbs, the intake ~40 lbs. My zip code is 35805.

I have more lowers than uppers....$15 is basically for the upper, the lower is thrown in free ;)....

Do you still have the turbo coupe wheels? I just picked up my father's '86, it has the factory road wheels with the dummy lugs on the center cap. Dad said that a brain donor that worked for the local repair shop that's done his work for decades managed to "remove" one of the dummy lugs from one cap.
Anyway, I'm a little foggy on if turbo coupe wheels are fourteen or fifteen inch, I would like to know. The car still has decent tires on it, can't see replacing them if I don't have to. Thanks!  Mac McFarland      Say the word:  "THUNDERBIRD!"

I do still have a set of wheels. They are 16" wheels and 4 lug. They have tires on them with tread but do show dry rot from age.

man I hate you sguys some times. I just paid about $200 for a throttle body egr upper intake (94-95 style) and heads. The didnt even let me take the rods or any of the botls.
*edit* someone close should buy all of the parts off of him and then send them to other people on the boards. I would pay more then $100 for the e7's here. And that would be a good price. svopaul, I just decided that you might just be okay  :D

I'd buy the stuff from him if I could, and resell it for a little extra car repair money.. but I don't have the cash to buy it off his hands in the first place, and even if I did, I don't have any way of getting it down here to FL cheaply.

Can't believe this fell to page 2 already.

Still got those DOAs for $25? I may have to find a way up there sometime soon.

I've met three people from the board via this thread and nobody has killed/molested me yet.
The internet isn't such a bad place after all.

I might see if I can rent a U-Haul and borrow a little money from the house re-fi and run up there one of these days. Otherwise it'll have to wait until I can figure out what job will take me in my current condition. (and what job I can do without running myself into the ground again)
