Car show season has finally returned so it was time for the 306 to make its debut! :) Cruised up there with my dad's Chevelle and his friend's Plymouth Valiant Wagon (which got TONS of positive attention)

I was very pleased to see the Tbird getting positive reactions from the people who actually took a moment to see what was under the hood. Not even 30 seconds after I parked and popped the hood, a guy who was on the phone walks up and I hear him say "Yeah I'm lookin at a Tbird with a Mustang Cobra engine in it...thats awesome." Always puts a smile on my face to hear things like that. Here are some other pics from the show:

I'll more pics up later. Most of the fun, though, was had as we were leaving the show. Dad and I were raising hell...revving at each other and generally goofing off. Pulled out behind a guy in a 440ci Plymouth who took off and I followed...he didn't leave me! :burnout:
That's awsome man, sounds like you had a great time.
Thanks for sharing your photos with us. :headbang:
D & P ;)
Wow , I feel dirty , but I really like that Vette
I love that Plymouth Valient wagon...very cool.
Thanks to whoever moved the thread to the proper forum - my bad on that. And yeah...felt good to be back at car shows again. As for the Vette, it does have a cool 70s look to it.
Vette is sick, I'd love to own that. It's not the Corvette Summer car lol....that's an abomination of I-don't-know-what......but that white one is tasteful.
I *think* that data plate says Kasier motors? You didnt know about supecharged studebakers or anything? :P The company that made that supercharger later made chainsaws.....(hint hint)
And actually for Ford flatheads you had the Judson blower as the weapon of choice...wonder if that was developed before this one, maybe in the 40s. Ill have to do some digging, I'm curious now.
You are correct about the Kaiser plate. Dad mentioned that they first did airplane superchargers during the war.
You're car is missing the vacuum tree on the driver's side of the firewall ;).
I have a decent interior on my car, but your interior makes mine look like . How did yours stay so sweet?
Hmmm...I don't think the car ever had it since I can remember...I'll have to look. My Turbo Coupe does, though.
Haha thanks. Guess I got lucky because we bought it from the original owner who was an old lady who just drove it around town occasionally. It was never really trashed on the inside, though it does have a few imperfections of course; but I clean it quite often. I really need to hunt down a passenger side seat belt buckle sleeve. I even have a backup one for the driver's side because the one in it now is showing signs of cracking :( . I can't find a passenger side one, though.
All Foxes have that vacuum "T" fitting. If you need one I'll see if I can find one next time I go to the yard.
Well it *has* one, but I don't think its the original one...or its not in the stock location.
