Title: GT-40 Intake Install
Post by: mechanized on April 12, 2011, 10:48:50 PM
Thought I would post a pic of the intake. I bought this from Mr. Vinnie T-bird awhile ago and finally got everything else polished and installed today.

Sorry guys...but this is on my '89 GT Mustang and not the Cougar. :p

NICE !!!! That looks awesome. It looks better on an engine than on the work bench, that's for sure.LOL. Nicely installed. I'm glad you were happy with it. You probably won't see another like that one. I'm getting ready to start another one this Friday. It's got a 351W lower though.

Thanks man! Do you deal in GT-40's often? I've seen you have sold a few, my Dad is wanting to get an "upper" here soon.

I'll have one Friday. I plan on doing my typical polish on the tank and throttle body ends ( seems to bring more $$ on Ebay that way). It's a stock one with the fines. Tubular intake. I also fab up intake plates you know. The one I'll have has the tubular upper, 351W GT-40 lower, and the "Lightning" intake plate. Gotta make some funds for the Sport. I also have a set of Cobra 1.7 roller rockers.
