How much is involved in installing this to work correctly?

I took the number off the back of the mirror, looked up "compass mirror installation", and found out where the wires went. After that, took me about 45 minutes, then, compass.

What do you need a picture of? I don't have the camera with me, but can get a pic for you if you need one.

May be interested in one of the compass mirrors.  Do you know if they are green or blue display?

Are these autodimming mirrors, or just compass?  Is the silvering in good condition?  Mine is getting pretty bad in the center, so I'm thinking of replacing it...and the compass would be nice!  Does it mount to the existing windshield mirror button?

Thx!

It'll mount to the existing button, and I have one with auto-dim. They are in excellent shape. If I see any problem with the actual "Mirror" glass, I leave them alone.

Any idea if the auto dim is hard to hook up?  I read a bit online and it seems like these are fairly straight-forward to install.  I think I'll pick one up.  Shall I PM you with more details (or vice versa)?

Thx!

It's all pretty straight forward. I have to rewire mine. I removed the harness when I had to replace my fuse panel. If I remember right, hot, ground, constant power, tail lights, and dome light................if I remember right. When I get a little more time, I'll try to find the info. Either way, not hard to hook up.

A couple of mirrors are gone. I have one left. Remember, parts need a home too.
