Here's the old vids of my car for anyone who hasn't already seen them. This engine came from the car in the shop right now, BTW.

This year I'll be de-tuning the car a bit for 87 octane and just driving it.
Nice looks like a fun car that the cops won't bother you in.
Man, that is sweet! I've always liked the TR7. I had a model of one as a kid, and ever since then wanted to build one. This one is really really awesome. I'm going to have to read up on your build. Nice work!
It is fun. I've had a Triumph since I was 21 and in college. I borrowed $200.00 from my girlfriend (now my wife) to pay for a clutch in a 1969 Spitfire I bought for $400.00 from a guys field behind his house. I've had one ever since.
The last 2 tickets I got were in a TR7, though. I got those in the 80's sometime.
Thanks, man.
The 7 is a nice car, really. I like it because I can get 2 sets of golf clubs in the trunk. Not a lot of sports cars you can do that with. I got low 13's with it with a 2.30 something 60'. It is a solid 12 second car with some track tires for sure. It is docile as a stock TR, my wife and daughter both drive it.
Never heard of a TR7 before but it looks like a lot of fun
Nice. A TR6 on the local classifieds piqued my interest recently, and the first thing that crossed my mind was "2.3 swap"".
Originally I was going to swap the 2.3 into a TR250. It's a TR4 outside and a TR6 underneath. Anyway, I wasn't happy with what I'd have to do to get what I wanted out of it, and then the TR7 body came along for $200.00. The rest is just a lot of work, time, and money.
I don't understand... What are these TR*'s and why are they so fond of Thunderbird turbo engines?
Ok Steve you are making me feel really old but check this out

This guy and his car is one of the inspirations for my Triumph project. I contacted him early on, and he invited me to his house to share his knowledge and let me take pictures.
The ride he gave me was unreal! That car is just sick.
He had an unfortunate racing accident and is repairing and rebuilding the car right now.
