Title: SN95 wheels same lug pattern as S197 wheels?
Post by: sarjxxx on March 08, 2011, 10:47:50 PM
I ask because I saw a 95 stang with 05 or higher wheels on it and it was pretty  cool and it got me thinking how cool they would look an a cougar.....

these are the ones I saw on it, and they're on of my favorite mustang wheels:

Same bolt pattern, different (more) backspacing.

Personally, I don't think those go well with these cars. They look a bit dated.  Whatever blows your skirt up, I guess.

The backspacing on the SN-95 wheels is pretty much perfect for these cars.  For the S197 wheels, unless you've made some changes, I think they'd wind up pulled in a bit much.

EDIT-
The backspacing difference is about 13mm it looks like.

I've read that you can use spacers on sn95's with no issue. That would probably be what I'd do if I do this. Which I want to.
