 Hey Eric, everyone.
How in the blazes do you remove the plastic  from the column shifter?? I Want to replace just the , not the entire shaft. I found a nice plain Billet  that will look good in the car, but I cant get the stupid  off!! Any Ideas short of a Sawzall?? hehe

Honestly I don't know if it comes off separately; I've never had one come off, anyway. Looks like if you twist really frickin' hard it may...but again, I'm not sure if that'll do anything.

Since you are going to be replacing the  anyway you could get a Dremel ahold of it and cut that sucker off of there. Just cut it away from the shaft. I don't think it comes off as a separate piece either. It did at one time but I think that sucker is glued on there.
