hows it goin everyone, im new to the whole turbo world. this is my first tbird ive had 4 mustangs but wanted something little different. i heard that when i change the oil that i need to disonnect the coil and turn over the car and it will prime the turbo, like i said idk much bout turbos its a garret t3 turbo so if anyone can let me know, then i need some info on mounting a front end intercooler thanks
Ive never done it. Seemed to cause no problems.
I'm not sure how necessary it is but when I worked for the Ford dealer (85-91) they told us that was the procedure to follow .
I say it certainly wouldn't hurt .
I agree It cant hurt. I always pre fill my new oil filter though.
wont hurt but its really not needed. not something I do when changing my own oil, or anyone elses for that matter.
Thanks everyone appreciate the info
