So I am going to McDonalds today... The roads are icy as heck. people sliding everywhere... There is a truck lot next to the McDonalds. This semi tried to pull in there, and got his front wheels into the lot, but his back wheels were spinning against the parking lot seam (almost like a curb). His trailer was across the whole street blocking traffic.
He's just sitting there spinning the wheels. Then he does the most dangerous, stupid thing I think I have ever seen. He gets out, leaves the truck in reverse, the wheels are spinning at idle speed on the ice... He takes a landscape log, crawls under the trailer, and starts kicking the log under the spinning wheel!!!
My wife was like "Oh my god! I can't look!". I was just watching in sheer amazement. What in the hell was he thinking? I can't believe he wasn't run over. If that wheel would have caught that log, he could never get out of the way fast enough. Another trucker came running over and got him out of there and hopefully talked some sense into him. Thank goodness, but man... Call a friggin tow truck!
Yep, there's a lot of mouth breathing window lickers that drive trucks, these days. When I started driving a few years ago, it was actually fun, but they've seem to grow in numbers like rabbits:disappoin:shakehead
