Title: 5.0 antifreeze leak

i dont know were its coming from but from underneath the car it has the front passanger side of the block wet. dosent do it all the time and only when its cold and nothings wet from up top any ideas on were its coming from?

Timing chain cover, heater hoses, thermostat gasket, upper rad hose....If you want help tracking it down and fixing it let me know.  Im only in Fleetwood, PA.

ok thanks im gonna pull in in the garage tonite yet and see if i can c anything it should be cold now

YOu can always put a UV dye in the antifreeze and look with a light...

well i looked it over and i went and tightened up all the hose clamps and a few were a little loose i thought hopefully that fixed it.  im thinking i could have been one of them hoses cuz it only dose it when its cold out like 20's or 30's.

check passanger floor and see if its wet at all.

no its up on the front of the block the inside is ok

When you check for leaks, rev up the motor and look closely for ANY leak or water. Especially around the belt area's. I had a leak I couldn't track down for anything, while I was driving 200 miles a day. I found out it was my timing chain cover gasket, when I reved it up.

well its still leaking so it must be the timing chain cover so im just gonna run it for now it dont leak alot and it dont overheat ill mess with it when its warmer out and i have some cash i might just have the guy i take my car to do it for me
