Bought a cobra intake for it, GT40 Heads, E 303 Cam. and will be mounting a Eaton M90 on it.
First thing I did to the intake was get rid of the oil burning small baffles.

Cant wait to get al these parts on it.
Nice car. Good pile of parts, too. Are the heads from an Explorer? If so,swap those springs out if that hasn't already been done. Keep the progress shots coming.
yes they are and yes they will be swapped, and the valves reground.
the car already had a few goodies as well, like BBK ceramic headers, BBK 2.5" catted H pipe, SFC's, Steeda Tri-ax shifter,
Good foundation to start with. After the heads are ready, installing them, the intake and the cam shouldn't take long. Maybe an afternoon. I'm still trying to get a simple pair of valve covers swapped out so I can get them to Kitz. I didn't realize how hard of a time I was going to have finding a set that "works".....visually that is.
That metal plate you made, is that the splash thing for the oil that can come out of the PCV valve?
Yep. My Explorer GT40 lower had one in place from the factory.
Nice Mustang. What gear are you running?
yes the plate stops that intake from sucking up LOTS of oil. last one I had on my '88 XR-7, I burned 3 liters of oil just getting to Cat jam the one year. (~4 hour drive)
Right now it is stock 3.08's, but in 2 weeks I will be swapping a freshly rebuilt 8.8" with 4.10's
