OK, I'm losing it, and the search function isn't helping. :hick:
Wasn't someone here going to look into this?
I'm still curious if it's a real chrome alternative? I saw a demonstration on Jay Leno's garage show and it obviously works. What are the drawbacks? Cost?

I see where it may have a purpose, but,my concern would be that everywhere I have chrome,it needs to be somewhat durable. If it gets chipped, then what? Or scratched. I think a show car suits the process better than a driven car. Chrome intakes, valve covers, wheels, etc. They all are subject to a lot of handling or mild abuse. I get under the hood frequently, and have dropped a socket, whatever, across the valve covers or intake, and no damage. if it was paint. Not so good. Plus,it's not something easily repaired like a standard paint. Chrome is sturdier. That's my own opinion.
