I don't think the mass air conversion will have any effect on you digi cluster, I may be wrong though.

Yep the dash doesn't care. The MAF computer has the same outputs that the stock computer does so the dash reads the same info. If you change from 19lb to 24lb injectors with a calibrated MAF the fuel econ calculations will be a little off on the dash. I know first hand.

Still 13mpg is off.  Look for other issues.  My 03 F-250 crew cab 4x4 with a 5.4 gets 17mpg

You might have the same problem that I think I've got. Has your timing chain ever been changed? I think that Im getting py mileage cause my timing chain has stretched.

Why do you want to convert it to Mass Air? Are you swapping cams?

Can you do a mass air swap with a non-ho firing order? The injectors will fire on the Ho firing order.

Before swapping to Mass Air:

1. Run codes
2. Run codes
3. Run codes

Also if you are trying to do a MAF conversion on a stock 5.0 SO don't. It will run like poo.

the timing chain hasnt been changed and when i do convert its getting complety redone new seals bearings pistons and i was gonna do like trickflow heads and intake. maybe down the road a supercharger but thats alot of money i dont have.  i dont want to do much to it now with all its miles on it and if the 302 dont pan out i have a 351w with ported and polished heads an a big cam that i could drop in too
