If it's an '87, it's a Fox...Foxes (Thunderbird/Cougar for this conversation) ran from 1980 through 1988, with the '80-82 being markedly different on the exterior, and a little bit of difference inside.

If you have pics, or a cardomain, or something of the like, we'd be able to i.d. your car as an Anny pretty fast. For starters, what color is the exterior and interior?

Unless it has some reallllly bad structural rust, or has been severely wrecked, AND it is indeed a 20th, hell yeah it's restorable. If it does have some rust, don't be put off, daminc, aka Jerry, completely worked over his '87 Cat HERE (http://"http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?17304-quot-Project-Evolution-quot-....-Todays-Update...December-4-2010").

By the way, welcome aboard!

I do know its a 20th it has the emblems. But can it also be an LS or XR7 it is red with light brown or tan interior. Red pin stips on the seats. I'm looking for a site for parts, I need a switch for the sunroof and drivers seat. THANK YOU for the help

20th's were LS models. And if it is in good or decent shape, and you have the means to keep it you should, they are getting really hard to find in nice shape. Post up some pics when you can, it's like the forum's #1 unspoken rule.

so far so good on the description as it sounds like a 20th.

you should have a tag rivited up near the hood latch and there should be a 4 digit number indicating which one of 4998 were produced.
That tag should also say 20th Anniv.

You should also have a badge on the pass trunk lid and another badge above the clock.
Do you have quad rear shocks?

welcome to the site!

Hey I'm also Paul and I have a 20th Anniversary as well :D

Nice to meet you! As others have said, welcome here, this is THE place you wanna be. Try not to let the car's GORGEOUS looks get your head. I have done so and have thus decided I am amazing. In fact, no such thing is true.
