Has anyone on here tried to make the original 87-88 Thunderbird base grille into a bullitt one?

I took a explorer billet gril and cut to match the shape of the stock grill, just shorter due to my bumper change

There's a real bad ass burnt orange/yellow ish tbird on here with mesh behind the regular Tbird grille, painted to match. Looks awesome and probably pretty easy.

I planned on putting mesh behind the grille just to try it out. I probably won't like it, but its worth a shot....

Here's a 1983-86 billet-style grille...would be nice if someone grew a pair and did this. ;)
