We need scans! :)
we'v all heard about what he's talking about. and im assumeing we'v all heard it because i know it, and im almost positive i read it on on of the admin's web pages... maybe not tho. i also beleve that one of the fox birds holds the speed record for nascar. 2xx mph or something. i love useing that information to rub in the face of my gf's dad whos a nascar nut. he's also a chevy freak :p
Bill Elliott has the NASCAR qualifing record in a '87 Thunderbird at 212.809 mph. Was set at Talladega AL in May of '87, before restrictor plates cut the speeds to 190ish. I believe the #2 qualifier for that race was 209mph or so, Bill had em' all covered with ease..
I believe Bill also holds the record at Daytona at 209 something. This was in an 85 Bird. I actually think it was seeing the nascar birds in the 80's when I was young that really hooked me on these cars. They looked just awesome.
there i got it to work there the only reference to a turbo coupe ive seen
